Services

Four things, done properly: from a cleared field to finished plots, adopted roads and tested sewers.

Housing groundworks

Plot foundations, slabs, drainage and external works for housebuilders, from the first dig to the last kerb.

We take sites from a cleared field to finished plots: setting out, foundations and floors, plot drainage, and the external works that go in at the end.

Most of our work is for regional and national housebuilders, on sites from 20 to 400 homes, working phase by phase alongside the build.

  • Trench-fill and strip foundations
  • Ground-bearing and beam-and-block floors
  • Plot drainage and connections
  • Driveways, paths and external works

Roads and sewers

Estate roads and sewers built for adoption, under Section 38, 278 and 104 agreements.

We build the roads and sewers on new estates to the council’s and the water company’s adoption standards, and see them through every inspection.

Section 38 covers new estate roads, Section 278 covers work on an existing road, and Section 104 covers sewers the water company will adopt.

  • Section 38 estate roads
  • Section 278 junctions and highway works
  • Section 104 foul and surface water sewers
  • Kerbs, footways and ducts

Drainage

Deep drainage, attenuation and soakaways, laid to falls and tested before it’s backfilled.

Deep drainage and sewers, attenuation tanks and soakaways, and the manholes and connections that tie them together.

Every run is laid to the design falls and tested before it’s backfilled, and surveyed by CCTV before handover.

Earthworks

Site clearance, cut and fill, and muck-away, with our own excavators, dozers and dumpers.

We clear and strip sites, move the earth to the engineer’s levels, and take away what can’t be reused on site.

Our engineers check the levels with GPS as the work goes in, so the ground is right before the foundations start.

  • Site clearance and topsoil strip
  • Cut and fill to design levels
  • Muck-away and soil reuse
  • Haul roads and compounds
