Start your career in groundworks.

We take on apprentices every year on the Level 2 Groundworker apprenticeship. It usually takes about 18 months: college days, and the rest on site with one of our gangs. You’re paid from your first day.

Questions we’re often asked

What size of job do you take on?

Mostly housing sites from 20 homes upwards, schools, care homes and commercial units. For anything smaller, ask us and we’ll tell you straight if we’re the right fit.

Can you price from drawings?

Yes. Send us the drawings, the engineer’s design and the bill of quantities if there is one, and we’ll come back with a priced tender.

Do you build roads and sewers for adoption?

Yes. We build estate roads under Section 38 agreements, highway works under Section 278, and sewers under Section 104, and see them through the council’s and the water company’s inspections.

Do you use your own plant?

Yes. We run more than 70 machines of our own, from mini diggers to 30 tonne excavators, maintained by our own fitters.
